5 New Belt Fed Girls Released! & 1 New Paint Job - Col. Bill's

There's been an update today over on Facebook, Stu's posted that he's got some new Belt Fed toys available.

But first, and coincidentally, I've just painted this
 BFG28 'Rambo Lynne'
Here's Stu's Facebook post:-
""Finally....5 new Belt Fed girls. BFG33 is Dabria - Angel of Death; BFG34 is 'Wee' Maggie Maclean - a rather buxom Jacobite Highlander; BFG35 Else, Landskecht Swordsman; BFG36 Marie Tete du Bois - French Napoleonic Cantiniere; BFG37 Lady Six Sky, Mayan Warrior Queen. No painted display figures yet, and only limited stocks currently available online. We hope to have more very soon. In the meantime enjoy the pics....""
BFG33 is Dabria - Angel of Death
BFG34 is 'Wee' Maggie Maclean
BFG35 Else, Landsknecht Swordsman
BFG36 Marie Tete du Bois - French Napoleonic Cantiniere
BFG37 Lady Six Sky, Mayan Warrior Queen

I don't know what's happening with the Modern fighter girl 'Rambo Lynne', that I've just painted. Possibly it will be put up for sale?

So if you would like it, you'd best pester Stu and tell him you want to buy it 🙌

  1. Absolutely fabulous eye candy, Roy. I'm particularly impressed with Rambo Lynne, and good for you for making her a redhead when brunette would have been the obvious choice.

    1. @Bryan Scott: Thanks Bryan

Rambo Lynne started off a brunette, but 'she' ended up a red head by the time I finished painting the model. So it was a fortunate error, as its probably balanced out better overall than if the hair had been a darker, flatter brown.

  2. Great miniatures Roy ! And fantastic paint-job on Rambo Lynne !
Some a bit too revealing to my taste , but very nice !

Yes, sometimes the figures would look better had they been more clothed I reckon. And it can be a pain to advertise them in some places as I need to add [censored] boxes over the nudity in the photos - and the display case at the shows has to have an 'apology, don't mean to offend' sign attached to it.

  3. The Landsknecht and Mayan princess are my favorites in this batch.

    1. @Jonathan Freitag: Yes, that Mayan is a cracking good model. The chap who sculpts them certainly put some effort into them all

  4. Some of the new sculpts look very nice indeed. I just wish I had a use for them.

The painted one I might get a use for in a zombie game only time will tell. (She looks really good)

Yes, Rambo Lynne converted to wear a vest top would look good in a zombie game. I had considered it, but time allowance dictated just a straight paint job to the stock model - plus I don't know what Stu's going to do with it

    2. They all look good. I may have to get both Miss death and Miss "Scottish totty!" I can most likely find a use for them.

But I am PROBBLY alone in that. So no point mentioning it.

I could also use a Miss Woodland Indian (Muskets and omohawk style)"

    3. @Clint: Stu was looking at a Native American female sculpt, but I don't know if it progressed beyond the idea phase.

I think there's still some codes awaiting moulding, but they might just be Depot Battalion items that wouldn't sell as well as the above so fell down the 'to do' list.

  5. Nice figures Roy just not quite sure what I would use them for.....I might squeeze the last two into a game 🙂

Angel of Death could be used as a cult leader, or the like. Or be used in rpg games or Frostgrave, probably. I reckon the Landsknecht will see use in a number of renaissance game's table dioramas at the shows.

  6. Nicely done on Miss Rambo and I am quite tempted by the Mayan Queen, although goodness knows what I would use her for?

I think the Mayan figure came about due to the sculptor begging Stu to be allowed to make one. It is certainly an impressive model and will take some careful, coordinated painting to balance out the colours, I reckon.

  7. Miss rambo has obviously a couple of good points, but fo rthesake of me, I cna't see the attraction of these sculpts, despite how good they are.

    1. @Zabadak: Joe, I don't know the original premise to the range to be honest. I think it started out as simply for display purposes, but enough people bought the figures and used them as table decoration in games that the range has grown to encompass that option too. I do sometimes wonder how much further the range can be stretched, as you can only have so many topless women, and I think Stu is thinking about how to expand his other ranges so the business has other profitable lines that can take over from the Belt Fed range in the long term.

    1. @Michał Kucharski: Yes, it is a handsome miniature that one. If I end up painting it I'm going to have to really think about the colour balance and placement so as to not make a mess. Its not a period I'm familiar with, so I'll have to do some research.

  9. Well, I've seen the painted version of "BFG35 Else, Landsknecht Swordsman" and you'll all not believe the colours used! I think there's been half the colours of the rainbow used painting it. It'll certainly stand out in a crowd! :))

  10. I have to say that the Mayan queen is definitely my favourite, Roy and will be going on my 'to buy' list. I have a Mayan noble from Gringo's in need of a consort, so the pair of them can terrorize New York in a Thanksgiving Ghostbusters adventure. I just need some zombie turkeys now...

    1. @Carrion Crow: That's really interesting to know that Gringo's has some others (when I think about it I remember them now).
I picked two of the five figures up the other day to paint, I skipped the Mayan and chose the French woman - Big mistake, its proving harder than I thought getting the uniform correct. I should have chosen the Mayan! :D
